An outrageous sexy and peculiar show this week

You have one hour in a cheap motel room to live out your dreams and fantasies. What would you do?

A group of Brisbane circus performers are pooling their talents and asking audiences to check-in (if they dare) to the ultimate hotel experience for anyone who has been curious about what goes on behind closed doors.

Dwell is an outrageous sexy and peculiar show. A voyeuristic night of circus and physical theatre sharing unique stories through acrobatics, hand-balance, clowning, tumbling and dance.

Dwell had a sold out run at Anywhere 2019 and rave reviews at Wonderland 2019. Now the worst motel in Brisbane returns for the Brisbane Fringe Festival in 2022 with a brand new group of guests

“If you had one hour in a cheap motel room to live out your dreams and fantasies, what would you do?” asks producer Madeleine Grant.

Dwell was created to allow different casts (guests) to perform in any version of the show, the cleaner and the manager weave a thread through the show linking the acts and providing a narrative framework for whoever stops by to tell their story.

Ultimately Dwell is about unleashing those secrets, dreams and nefarious schemes we keep locked deep inside. But the manager asks each guest to adhere to three simple rooms

1. Try to leave the room as you found it.
2. Your stay is short, make the most of it.
3. Take your baggage with you when you leave.

Dwell is on at the Workroom Studio1 Yeronga (an official Fringe hub) 28th, 29th and 30th of October.
