Christmas is coming early for Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne
Australia’s favourite adults-only Christmas comedy, ‘A Very Naughty Christmas’ returns in 2023.
Spreading Christmas cheer to those on Santa’s naughty list, the tongue-in-cheek cabaret will treat audiences in Brisbane, Gold Coast and for the very first time, Melbourne.
In ‘A Very Naughty Christmas’ audiences are encouraged to let loose and indulge in some adult-only ‘elf-care’ with a live band, eight above-average performers and Christmas classics as you’ve never heard them before.
‘A Very Naughty Christmas’ is a hilarious comedy concert, featuring a combination of stand-up comedy, skits, spoofed songs, impressive dance routines, singing, burlesque, and a delightful dose of absurdity. Having entertained over 25,000 attendees in Brisbane, the show has become a quick fan favourite during the festive season.
Woodward Productions producer Alex Woodward spoke about the festive spirit of the show and how it came to be.
“Christmas is a time when people come together, whether that’s friends or family,” said Alex.
“’A Very Naughty Christmas’ was born when my friends and I all wanted to have a F.R.I.E.N.D.S style Christmas – we all loved seeing live shows, but could only find shows which were family-skewed. We wanted to watch something funny, silly and irreverent while knocking back a few wines and maybe a margarita”.
‘A Very Naughty Christmas’ performs at Brisbane’s La Boite Theatre from 30 November to 13 December, The Star Gold Coast for one night only on Saturday 23 December and Melbourne’s Alex Theatre in St Kilda from 7 to 23 December 2023.
Tickets are officially on sale from Thursday 5 October from 10:00 AM (AEST) for Brisbane and Gold Coast, and 5:00 PM (AEDT) for Melbourne audiences.
