Potted Potter to potter about Australia

Grab your glasses, wands and house scarves!

Following seasons in New York, Las Vegas, London, Dubai and Toronto, the international smash hit Harry Potter parody ‘Potted Potter’ is coming to Caloundra this March for a strictly limited season.

The Best Entertainment, Olivier Award Nominee and double Best of Las Vegas 2019 award-winning show takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books (and a real-life game of Quidditch) into 70 hilarious minutes. With Toronto star calling it, “The single funniest thing… in ages. You’re gonna love this show.”

After celebrating the show’s 15th anniversary in 2021, creators Daniel Clarkson and Jeff Turner can’t wait for Australian audiences to experience the magic in 2022.

“We’re so thrilled to be bringing Potted Potter back to Australia. Although the show has been ‘down under’ several times, this is the first time we’ve been able to join the tour together. We can’t wait to enjoy the finer things in life, like Tim Tams, Vegemite and Quidditch, Aussie Rules style! This will be something you don’t want to miss!”

The two will be joined by seasoned performers and fellow wizards, Scott Hoatson and Joseph Maudsley.

Even if you don’t know the difference between a Horcrux and a Hufflepuff, this fantastically funny show featuring all your favourite characters, a special appearance from a fire-breathing dragon, endless costumes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic, will make you roar with laughter. This show is perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed).

In addition to the Sunshine Coast, the Australian tour will also be visiting Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Newcastle, before finishing in Perth at the end of April.

An extensive list of dates and locations is available on the official Potted Potter website. You might want to snitch up those tickets before they’re gone.
