Award-Winning Cabaret “Endo Days” Comes to Brisbane Powerhouse

Get ready to laugh and learn as Libby Trainor Parker presents her chronically comical endometriosis cabaret, “Endo Days,” in collaboration with Queensland’s peak body for endometriosis, QENDO. This educational and empowering show aims to raise awareness about the incurable pain condition that affects one in nine people.

The award-winning comedy cabaret has enjoyed four sold-out seasons at the Adelaide Fringe, earning rave reviews and accolades. Now, “Endo Days” is hitting the road as part of a book tour promoting Libby’s debut book of the same name, which was officially released today!

The cabaret features original songs and hilarious anecdotes, as Libby Trainor Parker, a comedian and author, shares her journey with endometriosis, having been diagnosed at the age of 36, 22 years after presenting with symptoms. Through entertainment and education, Libby has dedicated her life to endometriosis awareness. She has been actively involved in various organizations, including serving as a director on the board of Pelvic Pain Foundation Australia, working with the Australian Coalition for Endometriosis, and being an administrator of Endo Support SA.

“Endo Days” not only entertains but also educates and empowers patients, supporters, health practitioners, and the community about the challenges of living with endometriosis. The cabaret show resonates with endo patients, their partners, doctors, and supporters, delivering a powerful message of hope and understanding.

In addition to the show, Libby Trainor Parker is launching her memoir, “Endo Days,” which features stories from endo patients, parents, partners, and medical professionals from all over the country, with Libby’s own narrative at its core. “Endo Days” will be showcased for one day only at the Brisbane Powerhouse on August 13, 2023, with two performances at 3pm and 6pm. Each show will be 60 minutes long, followed by a 30-minute book signing session.
