Theatre Haus shares its 2019 #WallofFaves

After seeing over an incredible 170 productions in 2019, Theatre Haus and its team have shared their end of year #WallofFaves.

The #WallofFaves looks to recognise the immense talent within Southeast Queensland performing arts, and made mention of a range of local producers, performers, and creatives from within the professional, independent and community theatre sectors.

Each member of the Theatre Haus team was privy to the selection process, with most contributors highlighting the pick of the bunch from the range of productions they attended or reviewed throughout the year.

In addition to favourite overall productions, performers and technical design, Special Magic Moments were acknowledged and included Roxanne McDonald as the hilarious and powerful Nanna Lou in ‘From Darkness’ at La Boite Theatre Company; Tia Gostelow’s amazing concert at Brisbane Festival; and Peter Wood and Josh Lyons’ explosive comedy ‘Gary’ at Brisbane Sci-Fi Festival.

The #WallofFaves post was well received by the extended Southeast Queensland performing arts community. This initiative comes as the final 2019 project for Theatre Haus, having concluded their reviewing schedule in mid-December.

Now moving full throttle into 2020, Theatre Haus is accepting submissions for 2020 seasons from theatre organisations and producers alike.

A full list of the awards for 2019 is below.
